Bill Salouris is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Capital Commercial and has been instrumental in the growth, evolution and success of the business since its establishment in 2001. With more than 35 years of experience spanning investment banking, infrastructure finance, capital markets, commercial property finance, development funding and structured capital solutions, Bill is recognised for his ability to originate, structure and execute sophisticated funding solutions across a diverse range of sectors and asset classes.

Over the course of his career, Bill has advised property developers, investors, landowners, family offices, private capital groups, corporations and institutional stakeholders on complex financing requirements ranging from property acquisitions and through to large-scale development, infrastructure projects, recapitalisations and special situations transactions.

His expertise encompasses the entire capital stack, including senior debt, mezzanine finance, preferred equity, joint venture capital, private credit and alternative funding structures. Combining deep market knowledge with extensive transaction experience, Bill specialises in creating tailored capital solutions that address the unique objectives and challenges of each project while optimising funding efficiency, certainty and execution.

Bill’s experience extends beyond traditional property finance, having been actively involved in major property, infrastructure, investment and capital markets transactions throughout Australia and internationally, including projects across South East Asia. His comprehensive understanding of capital structuring, risk management, project feasibility and investment strategy enables him to identify opportunities, navigate complex funding environments and deliver effective capital solutions in both conventional and non-conventional lending markets.

Complementing his extensive industry experience, Bill holds a Master’s Degree in Property Development, providing a unique combination of advanced technical knowledge and practical transaction expertise. This background allows him to provide valuable strategic insight across the full property lifecycle, from acquisition, planning and development through to project delivery, investment and portfolio growth.
